Normal Hours of Operation

NMJ Technology LLC normal hours of operation are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mondays through Fridays.

Beyond Competitive Rates

When NMJ Technology LLC was opened for business, I wanted to come up with a competitive rate scale for my existing as well as new clients. The typical IT Consultant will be charging $140.00 an hour at the very least, and I could have easily declared this as my standard rate.

I have decided to publicize the rates below.  There is no reason to hide them.  These are the rates all my clients receive.  These will be the rates you receive.

You have two options for obtaining your NMJ Technology LLC Consulting, Design, Implementation, Management and Support services; Standard Flat Rate, or a Monthly Recurring Rate.

Standard Rate

  • $100.00 per hour.

 

My standard rate is charged during normal hours of operation for tasks performed for a business not currently holding any other hourly agreement with NMJ Technology LLC.  Although this rate is already lower than you would likely find elsewhere for my level of expertise, further discounts on my rates can be received by purchasing a monthly budget plan.

Overtime Rates

The above rates apply for normal business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will be billed 1.5 times the normal rate outside of business hours from 5:00 PM Monday through 9:00 AM the following Friday.

You will be billed 2 times the normal rate outside of business hours from 5:00 PM Friday through 9:00 AM the following Monday.

Overtime rates do not apply to clients who are on the recurring plan described below.

Travel Compensation

My normal region of operation is typically an area that is no more than 125 miles from NMJ Technology LLC, generally no more than a 2 hour drive.

I charge one way travel for the standard reasonable time it takes to reach the client’s site by NMJ Technology LLC company vehicle. You will always be billed the same amount for a particular site. I do not charge for time involving traffic jams, weather, or alien abductions.

For areas outside of my normal region of operation, travel by any other means (rental car, bus, train, airline, bicycle, air balloon, feet, hands and knees, swimming, etc.) will be billed in full, including any rental or ticket fees, for both directions, to and from the client. Any lodging that is required to complete a job is also charged to the client’s account.

Travel rates do not apply to clients within 2 hours drive time that are on the recurring plan described below.

Budgeted Recurring Rate Plan – NMJ GuardianComplete™

You will want to consider to choose a budgeted recurring monthly rate plan to simplify your fiscal process and lower your ongoing costs for our IT services.  Titled NMJ GuardianServices, the cost of your plan will be determined after a full review of your network needs, but it will be less than you are paying now. Your monthly agreement will cover all on site, remote, phone, email support and labor, including time for projects, as well as drive time to and from your facilities that are within 2 hours distance. Hardware, software, and licensing that are not covered under the agreement would still be purchased separately.

As you bundle two or more NMJ Guardianservices together in this plan, you get additional discounts in your overall costs of network management.

Prepaid Block Rate

I am sorry!  Blocks of time are no longer offered.  All existing client blocks of time were expired at the end of the 2017 year.

Rate Changes

Every effort will be made to keep stable price rates. However, my rates are subject to change to accommodate the typical increase in operating expenses.  All rates, including rates for those clients on a monthly recurring support plan, can expect to see a 5% increase each year.  Although, these changes will typically be made at the beginning of any particular year, I reserve the right to change rates at any time.

In addition, for clients on a monthly recurring support plan, a yearly review of the plan will be made to determine changes in the support scope of the client due to increasing or decreasing number of server, workstation, devices, and of course user base.

Emergency Availability

I am generally available in cases of dire emergency at any hour on any day. Most of my clients understand that emergency situations happen, and that I may have to reschedule their time slot to address the emergency. They know that I would do the same for them if they were the ones with the emergency. There are possibilities of periods of time when I will not available and I will attempt to post these times on my web site ahead of time.

Invoices and Statements

Invoices for work performed should go out at the end of each month.

Statements should go out at the end of each year.

There is a 1.5% late fee applied to any unpaid balance when the statements are produced at the end of each month.

Acceptance of Terms

Any client that has entered into a partnership with NMJ Technology LLC hereby accepts all the terms and conditions set forth herein.
